Unlocked US Galaxy Note10/10+ are getting Android 10 now

Samsung is eager to close out 2019 with all its flagships under Android 10 (well, almost all). Today the maker has seeded the Android 10 update to the Galaxy Note9 and now to the unlocked Galaxy Note10/Note10+ in the US.

Up until this point the firmware was available for the Galaxy Note10 devices on Verizon and, as of yesterday T-Mobile. Unlocked devices around the world started receiving the Android 10 update in the middle of December but it's only now that unlocked units in the US are starting to see the firmware pop up on their phones. A bit ironic that the carrier units got to Android 10 first.

Android 10 brings a heap of improvements as well as Samsung's OneUI 2.0. There's a refined dark mode with a better app reach and support for dimming the wallpaper, a new Android 10-based gesture navigation, the latest December security patch as well as the usual tweaks and fixes.
