Sony didn't keep its promise to deliver the Xperia S Jelly Bean update by the end of March and understandably angered quite a few users. According to a leaked update roadmap for the French carrier SFR, the Xperia S update will finally launch in May.
Sony Xperia S launched in February 2012 running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, got the Ice Cream Sandwich later on and was confirmed as eligible for the Jelly Bean treatment. It will probably be the last update for the smartphone.
The SFR's list also suggest the first Galaxy Note phablet will get the Jelly Bean update about the same time as the Xperia S - in May. We already know it will be updated with 4.2 Jelly Bean version, which will also be the last Android update the Galaxy Note will receive..
