Our Samsung Galaxy A35 video review is out

In some regions like the US and Canada, the Samsung Galaxy A35 is the highest level A-phone that you can get – but is it worth having? For its price, it’s a solid choice as Will explains in our video review.

Compared to last year’s model, the 2024 phone brings a more performant chipset, a premium Gorilla Glass Victus+ pane on the front (there is glass on the back now too), plus improvements to the screen and speakers. The video goes into details on the improvements (and also some areas where the phone is still lacking).

The A35 gets the second tier of Samsung software support – not the 7 years of the S-series flagships, but 4 OS updates and 5 years of patches, which is still better than most of the competition. And if you like One UI, you know what you’re getting (well, without the new AI features).

The Samsung Galaxy A55 has some advantages over its sibling, including an aluminum frame and the new Exynos mid-range chip with AMD graphics. Expect a full review soon. For our readers in the US and Canada, check out our Galaxy S23 FE video review as that is the alternative that Samsung offers for those looking for something more than the A35.
