If you've already seen the full assortment of official videos from Google regarding all of the hardware it's announced at its event today, but still crave some more promo shots of the Pixels, this is for you.
As you may know, in the US Verizon will be the exclusive carrier partner selling the two phones. And the company seems pretty proud of that, already having outed its own promo video for the Pixel and Pixel XL. Oddly, Verizon is calling this an unboxing video, but as you'll see, that part only takes up the first few seconds. So yeah, technically it is an unboxing, since phones are being removed from boxes.
On the other hand, the video goes through quite a few of what Google considers the Pixels' unique selling points - including the free unlimited storage for full resolution photos and videos captured with either device. The camera gets props, but Verizon doesn't forget to remind us about its LTE Advanced network too. Perhaps surprisingly, there's absolutely no Verizon logo to be seen on the Pixels themselves, yet the carrier simply couldn't help itself and slapped a huge logo on their boxes. This counts as a step forward in Verizon-land, though, keep that in mind.
