ZTE has unveiled a new budget smartphone. Dubbed Small Fresh 4, the device is the successor to the Chinese company's Small Fresh 3 which was launched last year. The new phone is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz SoC (MediaTek MT6753) and sports a 5.2-inch full HD display with 2.5D curved glass.
It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable internal memory, and packs in a 2,450mAh battery. In terms of camera, the handset features a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. It runs Marshmallow-based MiFavor 3.5 UI, and also features a 3D fingerprint sensor on the back.
As for price, the Small Fresh 4 carries a tag of RMB 1,090 (around $163) in China, where it will go on sale starting July 26. Color options include Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold. Given that its predecessor was launched as the Blade X6 in international markets, we expect the Small Fresh 4 will also be available internationally as part of the company's Blade X series.
ZTE also revealed that the total sales of its Small Fresh series devices has crossed 300 million.
